Fire-resistant cotton fabric is a material made by adding low-melting-point bonding fibers to polyester fibers. It complies with the international CFR1633 flame retardant regulations and also meets the EU ROHS environmental standards. Its main raw material is polyester fibers. After being carded and laid out for forming, it is made by using low-melting-point bonding fibers.
Fireproof performance is excellent: When burning, it forms a dense carbonized layer, effectively preventing the spread of flames, while generating a small amount of non-toxic smoke.
Elasticity is good: It has excellent rebound and soft hand feel, suitable for use in situations requiring a soft touch.
Environmental protection standard: Complies with the EU ROHS environmental protection standard, can be naturally degraded, is non-toxic, and does not cause any chemical reactions.
Strong wash resistance: Using durable finishing flame retardants, it can withstand more than 50 washes while maintaining the original performance of the fabric. Application fields
Furniture and Clothing: Used for mattresses, textiles, etc., providing fire protection
Public places and transportation: Used for decorative fabrics, work clothes, fire-resistant clothing, heat-resistant clothing linings, etc.
Industrial and Military Uses: Used for military and industrial outerwear, underwear, and insulation for various heat-generating equipment
Special Applications: Used for sound insulation, thermal insulation, heat resistance materials, as well as for sound absorption in mufflers and for noise reduction in engines.
(1) Ignition point: It refers to the height of the ignition point, indicating the ease of fire occurrence.
(2) Combustion performance: The rate at which the sample burns under specific conditions.
(3) Destruction caused by combustion: During combustion, the skin temperature rises through heat conduction, causing burns. There are also hazards from smoke and toxic gases.
(1) Non-combustibility: Glass fibre, asbestos, steel fibre, etc.
(2) Difficult combustion: Polyvinyl chloride, polyacrylonitrile, etc.
(3) Combustibility: Wool, silk, polyester, nylon, etc.
(4) Flammability: Cellulose fibre, nitrocellulose, etc.
